The use of MICR ink both reduces fraud and allows for faster payment processing via the automated check sorting equipment used by most banks.
Were you aware that IRS regulations mandate that all individuals that have been paid at least $600 during the year be issued a 1099 and that small businesses can face fines in excess of $75,000 for failing to file 1099 forms in a timely manner?
